HIRSP is excited to offer, for the first time ever, a FREE agent certification course!

Agents who complete the two-hour course will:

  • Earn two CE credits
  • Receive a $100 referral fee for each approved HIRSP and HIRSP Federal application
  • Be listed on the HIRSP website as one of our HIRSP and HIRSP Federal Plan Certified Agents
  • Receive training materials and an overview of the HIRSP and HIRSP Federal website, documents and applications

    • Reminder: Applications must be complete, legible and signed in order to be processed.

HIRSP offers 3 plan options

  • The HIRSP Plan is for an individual who has recently been insured.
  • The HIRSP Federal Plan is for individuals who have not been insured for at least six months.
  • HIRSP Medicare Supplement Plan is for individuals who are on Medicare because of a disability or for current HIRSP members who turn 65 while enrolled in HIRSP.

About the HIRSP Federal Plan

Learn more about the basic eligibility criteria to qualify for the HIRSP Federal Plan.

Helpful Information

HIRSP continues to reimburse agents $40 for approved applications.

In late 2011, HIRSP offered its first agent certification classes. HIRSP is currently scheduling more courses for 2012. All agents attending a certification class will be considered HIRSP certified. All HIRSP certified agents will recieve $100 for each approved application versus the current $40 referral fee.

In order to be reimbursed the agent must complete agent section of the HIRSP or HIRSP Federal Application.
