About Care Management

HIRSP has implemented procedures for precertification of inpatient hospitalizations and prior approval of high-cost services, as well as case management and disease management programs.

These procedures and programs are designed to help you better manage your health care and let you know, in advance, if certain services are or are not covered by your HIRSP insurance.

We strongly encourage you and your providers to follow these procedures and to work closely with our Care Management team to make well informed decisions about treatment options.
